Job Summary
Directs patient care services for the hospice team, including volunteer and bereavement integration, and ensures services align with the interdisciplinary plan of care. Oversees admissions history/assessments, discharge planning, and on-call coverage 24/7. Manages staffing, payroll-related timekeeping, and staff development; mentors team on VITAS hospice principles. Drives quality improvement and regulatory compliance, maintains accurate clinical records, participates in outcomes management and satisfaction surveys, and ensures responsive customer service to patients and families. Requires RN licensure in the program's state and a Bachelor's degree (preferred) with at least two years of supervisory healthcare experience. Location: Deerfield Beach, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license to practice in the state where the VITAS program is located
- Two years successful supervisory experience in a health care organization
- Bachelor's degree preferred or higher (as applicable to the role)
