Job Summary
Manage the interdisciplinary team delivering hospice care to patients and families, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate daily operations, including visit management, budget development, and staff hiring, while facilitating team meetings and special projects. Conduct audits, analyze clinical and fiscal practices, and evaluate staff performance to achieve productivity and revenue targets. Requires a Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State and minimum three years of hospice clinical experience. Salary ranges from $98,200 to $130,800 annually.
Required Qualifications
- License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- Licensed and currently registered to practice as Nurse Practitioner in New York State and DEA license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an approved program accredited by the National League of Nursing or Health or Human Services field
- Minimum of three years clinical experience in hospice
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Daytime coverage
