Job Summary
As Team Manager at Panera Bread on East 56th Street in Indianapolis, you'll be part of the bakery-cafe's leadership team responsible for running great shifts, supporting team development, and maintaining high standards for guests. You will lead, manage, and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience, and celebrate their achievements. You will participate in interviewing and selection, train staff in food safety standards, and help cultivate a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18 years
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
- ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification)
- Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
- Strong coaching, motivating, and development skills
- Interviewing and selection participation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and training for staff
