Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of Engineers and Draftsmen, overseeing the design and detailed engineering of Spiral and Compabloc Heat Exchangers. Coordinate effectively with internal and external customers, consultants, and Third Party Inspection agencies while providing technical support to Bid Engineering and Sales teams. Participate in the estimation process and support both New and Existing Product Development projects. Review and maintain documentation in accordance with ASME and PED quality manuals. Identify team training needs and recommend appropriate development programs. Based in Satara Factory, this role requires 10–12 years of experience and proficiency in engineering software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
- 10–12 years of relevant experience
- 2–3 years in a managerial role focused on the design and estimation of equipment such as heat exchangers, boilers, pressure vessels, columns, or reactors
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, PD550, EN13445, EN, API)
- Proficient in engineering software such as PV-Elite, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
- Familiarity with ASME/ASTM materials and material selection
- Experience with nozzle loading analysis as per WRC-107 and WRC-297
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies
