Job Summary
Lead a team of connectivity growth fiber designers responsible for analyzing feasibility and delivering high-quality fiber/dark fiber connection designs. Collaborate with internal project leaders and external design partners, manage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement. Use ArcGIS-based design tools to support design development, create and present detailed reports to senior management, and foster personal growth paths within the team. Embrace innovation in telecom design and ensure timely, accurate design delivery aligned with business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading teams in a technical environment
- Coaching, leading, motivating, and coordinating a design team
- Strong stakeholder management and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with ArcGIS-based design tools and fiber/dark fiber design
- Ability to analyze feasibility of new connections and deliver high-quality designs
- Ability to develop and maintain reporting to senior management and KPI tracking
- Collaboration with external design partners and project leaders
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to drive continuous improvement within a design team
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to listen to user needs
