Job Summary
Lead the Service Improvement Team and oversee key workforce functions, including developing innovative recruitment and retention strategies. Drive workforce sustainability by managing succession planning, workforce intelligence reporting, and performance analysis. Oversee staff induction, onboarding, and development programmes while coordinating annual training needs analysis. Manage workforce investigations through the trained investigation pool and align operational capacity with service demand through collaboration with Operational Team Managers. Contribute to the delivery of the Fife HSCP's Strategic Plan 2026–2029 via multi-agency working. This permanent role offers a salary of FC10 £57,196.54 to £62,543.64 with 36 hours per week, wide and blended working at Fife House, Glenrothes, Fife.
Required Qualifications
- Significant leadership and management experience within health, social care or a related environment
- Experience of supervising, supporting and developing staff
- Strong workload management, performance management and coaching skills
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and partnership-working abilities
- The ability to assess and manage risk and make sound, defensible decisions
- A commitment to delivering safe, effective and person-centred services
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and the Health and Social Care Standards
- A relevant practice qualification accepted by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), including SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 9 (or equivalent)
- A management qualification at SCQF Level 10 accepted by the SSSC
