Job Summary
Hand weld products according to production schedules while operating fabrication equipment including robotic welders, hydraulic banks, and drill presses. Edit and program tube or wire bending equipment to maintain high quality standards. Huddle with the team to determine run sequences and participate in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping. This 1st shift role (6am–2pm, Monday–Friday) includes overtime during busy seasons. KI offers 100% employee ownership, competitive health benefits, and a $1.00/hour raise within the first year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
- Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
- Team Player
- Computer knowledge
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to train on any shift
- Positive Attitude
- Working in areas where it can get warm
- Working in a smoke free environment
- Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow
- This is a 1st Shift position
- Hours are 6am-2pm Monday – Friday
- Overtime during busy season
