Job Summary
Lead the planning and implementation of vertical start-up activities to achieve project criteria, glide paths, and budget targets. Develop start-up plans, team charters, and change management processes while providing direction, training, and coaching on Global Standard templates. Define success criteria, commissioning strategies, and resource allocation schedules, ensuring alignment on measurement and reporting. Manage start-up budgets, supplier material plans, and hiring strategies in compliance with health and safety programs and quality policies. Foster a culture of quality improvement and lead the team through ambiguity with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a college diploma Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of management level experience in Maintenance, Engineering or Production role
- Prior experience leading CI projects incorporating 5S, Kanban, Visual Management, and other Lean methodologies
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Clearly understands the Commercial Business he or she will support
- Has had leadership experience in a manufacturing site
- Understands the I2M / IIM Process
- Has experience leading and directing others
- Understands and is trained on some key pillars as IIM, AM, and PM
- Proactive and self-motivated

Desired Qualifications
- ideally in an industrial Food Manufacturing environment
- Has had leadership experience in a manufacturing site, preferred in Operations
