Job Summary
Team Leader position supervising and coaching restaurant team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Responsible for training staff, modeling JIB Hospitality standards, maintaining cleanliness and safety, ensuring food quality and consistency, and guiding frontline operations across guest service, front/back-of-house duties, and cash handling. Key duties include leading during busy times, improving order accuracy, managing daily shifts, and promoting a positive, brand-aligned guest experience. Requires strong interpersonal and leadership skills, the ability to train, evaluate, and motivate staff, and adherence to company policies, labor laws, and food safety procedures (ServSafe where required).
Required Qualifications
- Experience – 6 consecutive months JIB experience and 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes, or 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old; must complete Team Leader training classes; ServSafe certification in certain states as applicable.
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; ability to speak another language to guests based on location of restaurant.
