Job Summary
Team Leader responsible for training and leading restaurant team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience, coaching on hospitality standards, ensuring food quality and safety, and enforcing Jack in the Box policies and procedures across front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience – 6 consecutive months JIB experience and 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes, or 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Team Leader training classes must be completed
- ServSafe certification may be required in certain states
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; additional language could be required based on location
- Excellent interpersonal skills; basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work well with diverse groups; analytical skills; good organization and planning
- Self-starter; takes initiative; accepts responsibility
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Physical ability to stand and move for long periods; ability to lift 15-25 lbs
