Job Summary
Team Leader at Jack in the Box responsible for training and leading team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences, ensuring food quality, adhering to 20/20 guest expectations, and compliance with JIB procedures and standards. Responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, maintaining cleanliness and order, managing front-of-house operations (dine-in and drive-thru), ensuring order accuracy and timeliness, upholding food safety and quality, and acting as a brand ambassador who inspires the team and prioritizes guest satisfaction. The role requires frontline supervisory leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to train others using the Guest Expectations program and JIB policies; experience with POS/cash handling and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience – 6 consecutive months JIB experience and 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes, or 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old; must complete Team Leader training classes; and in certain states, must be ServSafe certified.
- Requires ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; and may require ability to speak another language to guests based on location of restaurant.
