Job Summary

Oversee daily operations at a Gregory's location by ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness standards are upheld during all operating hours. Manage people development by coaching teams on high standards, identifying high-potential baristas, and leading by example. Enforce operational and service protocols including Department of Health compliance, taste checks, FIFO rotation, and immaculate merchandising. Proactively manage customer concerns, collect marketing contacts, and respond to online reviews. Handle facilities maintenance, labor law compliance, and financial performance by tracking sales, labor, COGS, and inventory. Manage cash handling and work flexibly across early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays to cover store needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of Department of Health standards
  • Ability to comply with employee labor laws
  • Ability to communicate changes to labor laws with teams
  • Ability to manage cash handling responsibilities including cash drawer counts, safe reconciliation, and bank deposits
  • Ability to track inventory/waste levels and ordering activity
  • Ability to complete and submit monthly inventory counts accurately
  • Ability to respond to Yelp/Google/App/Email comments
  • Ability to manage each of the store's controllable profit areas: sales, labor, and COGS
  • Ability to build customer relationships and seek out revenue drivers
  • Ability to lead by example
  • Ability to coach teams
  • Ability to identify and develop high potential baristas
  • Ability to train teams on new menu and operational roll outs
  • Ability to check for taste, FIFO rotation, and visual appeal
  • Ability to ensure stores are kept immaculately clean, organized, and well merchandised
  • Ability to proactively clean, service, and maintain all equipment and fixtures
  • Ability to react to major plumbing, electrical, HVAC, equipment, or other facility concerns
  • Ability to have regular conversations with team members regarding employee issues
  • Ability to know a significant amount of customers on a first name basis
  • Ability to collect customer business cards/email addresses to build a database
  • Ability to minimize guest complaints
  • Ability to go above and beyond for both positive and negative reviews
  • Ability to communicate clear direction for deep cleaning tasks
  • Ability to manage employee issues proactively
  • Ability to work alongside teams to drive revenue, efficiency, and profitability
  • Ability to embody company values and live them every day
