Job Summary
Direct Team Member activities to maintain speed of service, cleanliness standards, and operational needs while organizing opening, shift change, and closing duties. Monitor productivity and provide specific coaching to improve performance, resolve guest complaints immediately, and follow up to ensure satisfaction. Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks including inventory management, ordering, deposits, HAACP records, and financial tracking. Serve as a role model by demonstrating engaging guest service and maintaining positive relationships with staff. This full-time role requires flexible availability for all shifts, including opening and closing, with the ability to work beyond scheduled hours as business requires.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in industry
- Knowledge of food service operations
- Knowledge of food safety and physical safety guidelines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Effective communication, orally and in writing, with Team Members and guests
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Lead and motivate a team, even during challenging times
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to 4 (four) hours in length
- Must have flexible availability for scheduling
- Must be available for both opening and closing shifts
- Must be able to work beyond scheduled hours as business requires
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as Team Leader, Shift Lead, Team Lead, Crew Lead, supervisor, assistant manager, or other supervisory part time restaurant job
