Job Summary
Team Leader for the ProTeam at the Van Wert, OH manufacturing plant. Lead a cross-functional team of Engineers, Technicians, Planners and Machine Operators to drive performance, coaching, and development while managing budgeting, strategic pricing/quoting, and adherence to standard work and playbooks. Responsible for safety and EHS alignment, collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, and other support groups, and ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of products. Develop and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships, train and empower team members, and drive change using the Danfoss Leadership Model to deliver results aligned with the Hydraulics FC Division and Van Wert Operations.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma is required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Detailed understanding of Finance and Accounting
- Thorough technical knowledge of FC product lines including product designs, test methods, end product use, and the manufacturing methods and processes
- Understanding of the current strategic plans of the Fluid Conveyance Group
- Ability to effectively supervise people and motivate subordinates, while maintaining organizational harmony and meeting deadlines
- Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work with functions outside of the ProTeam for the common good of Danfoss
