Job Summary
Team Leader at Ana’s Place Men’s Shelter supervises a small team of case managers, oversees day-to-day delivery of direct services, and ensures regulatory compliance for clinical services. The role coordinates on-site clinical staff (psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, licensed practical nurse), manages intake and assessments, facilitates weekly team meetings to monitor client progress, and maintains clinical documentation and data entry in the AWARDS system. Responsibilities also include quality assurance activities, crisis response coordination, and acting as Clinical Director when the Clinical Director is unavailable. Full-time position with salary range USD established.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, NYS LMSW required
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience working with homeless mentally ill adults or other special needs population
- Must have proven supervisory skills including at least two years of supervisory experience
- Excellent oral, writing and listening skills
- An ability to work independently and to initiate actions to support the efforts of the staff and the clients
- An ability to relate with clients as well as all levels of staff
- Knowledge of case management software as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
