Job Summary
Supervise direct care staff during shifts, providing oversight and guidance. Responsibilities include assisting the Senior Residential Supervisor in staff development and coaching, scheduling activities, administering medication, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe environment. The role involves providing instruction in daily living tasks, promoting communication with families and the community, and completing necessary paperwork and incident reports. The position requires physical agility, the ability to lift individuals, and compliance with agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals manually and mechanically as required by prescribed program/plan
- Lifting requirement of 35 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- One year related experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License that meets agency policy
- CPR certification
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical agility and ability to react to emergency situations
