Job Summary
Coordinate daily packaging and labeling operations for clinical trials and pharmaceutical products while leading, coaching, and developing team members. Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintain accurate batch documentation, and resolve operational issues through cross-functional partnerships. Monitor production metrics, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a safe, compliant work environment in cold room conditions. This role supports the global mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through efficient packaging solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed
- Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
- Advanced Degree with no prior experience required, OR Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical/clinical trial packaging operations
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing
- Strong GMP and quality systems knowledge
- Experience with batch record documentation
- ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and production software proficiency
- Strong organization, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and develop teams
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to work in clean rooms, lift up to 50 lbs, and work various shifts
- English proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred fields: Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Professional qualifications in the pharmaceutical or food industry beneficial
- Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
- Additional languages are a plus
