Job Summary
Supervise Teaching Artists, interns, and volunteers while overseeing hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling. Implement person-centered day services and habilitation plans, ensuring compliance with Medicaid regulations, incident reporting, and quality assurance standards. Lead staff meetings, professional development, and case reviews to foster continuous learning and high professional standards. Manage studio operations, including organizing exhibitions, overseeing artwork storage, and coordinating with community partners to promote public awareness. Assess individual needs to recommend resources and monitor supplies to ensure comprehensive, compliant service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or arts-related degree
- Three years full-time, paid direct service experience with the disabled population
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Valid New York State Driver's License in Good Standing
- Reliable form of transportation
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
