Job Summary
Team Leader overseeing daily production operations on third shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM) in a manufacturing environment, leading associates, ensuring process achievements, maintaining machine startup/shutdown, monitoring quality and productivity, conducting maintenance, and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include assigning daily duties, providing feedback for evaluations, maintaining inventory control, ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating with other departments and customers, training staff, and maintaining 5S and other quality systems. Requires front-line leadership experience, mechanical aptitude, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to meet productivity and yield goals in a fast-paced setting. High school diploma or GED required, with 2 years related experience; associate’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or prior related work experience commensurate with 2 years is required
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to repair machines
- Strong troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution skills
- Front-line leadership experience
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong recordkeeping abilities
- Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Highly tactful and diplomatic with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Committed to adherence to procedures and safety rule compliance
