Job Summary
Lead and support daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives. Restore interrupted production flow by identifying issues, coordinating resources, and implementing effective solutions. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve standardized work procedures while coaching employees on safe operating practices. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor operational performance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and accurately record production data. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement using Lean and Reynolds Business System methodologies. Work the night shift from 12am to 12pm at our South Boston, VA manufacturing plant.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including extrusion and converting operations
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common manufacturing tools
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter production information into company systems
- 12am - 12pm shift availability

Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Reynolds Business System (RBS) methodologies
- Experience with standardized work development and implementation
