Job Summary
Lead and coach a national casualty and bodily injury claims team, reporting to the Manager of National Bodily Injury/Casualty. Facilitate weekly team huddles and regular one-on-one meetings, analyze and implement efficient claims processes to improve workflow, and maintain quality through audits. Provide on-the-job training, technical direction, and leadership to staff on performance, productivity, conduct, and policy adherence. Drive staff development through feedback, development plans, and involvement in hiring decisions; participate in interviews for unit vacancies and recommend new hires. Requires a university degree or equivalent, with strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a national perspective for a geographically dispersed team.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or relevant two-year college diploma or CIP designation
- Minimum five years experience handling bodily injury and casualty claims
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience with performance management processes
- National technical handling experience in Auto/Bodily Injury and General Liability is an asset
