Job Summary
Team Leader MRO Landing Gear leads a team of technicians within the MRO organization to safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards execute maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft landing gear. You will coach and develop technicians, ensure a safe work environment, enforce quality, safety and compliance, coordinate maintenance activities, monitor performance (quality, productivity, lead times, safety), identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement and ownership, initiate and guide efficiency and process-improvement projects, collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Logistics, Quality and Operations, support staffing/absence management and performance development, and report progress and improvements to management.
Required Qualifications
- MBO+ or HBO work- and thinking level
- Experience in a technical, industrial or production environment
- Proven leadership experience in an operational setting
- Affinity with maintenance, production or revision processes
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Experience with continuous improvement, LEAN methodologies or operational excellence is a plus
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift schedule
