Job Summary
Team Leader at EUROSPAR Moat Street in Donaghadee leads the store team alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager to deliver a shopping experience that exceeds customers’ expectations. Responsibilities include following store policies, taking responsibility in the absence of other leaders (including keyholder duties), training and managing workloads, being hands-on in store, implementing the store plan and priorities to maximise performance, and promoting community initiatives. May cover the Post Office when required. Requires 18+ years old and at least 6 months of supervisory experience in a customer-focused retail environment; strong listening, communication, and leadership to inspire the team and customers. Full-time role with 42.5 hours per week and shifts 6:00am–11:00pm, Monday–Sunday, with some flexibility. Salary: £14.63 per hour plus benefits. Equal opportunities employer.
Required Qualifications
- Age 18 years or over (for store legislative requirements)
- Previous store retail experience
- At least 6 months supervisory experience leading a team in a customer-focused environment
- Ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and team members
- Target-driven to meet business plans/priorities
- Inspire and support the team and customers
- Ability to train, manage workloads and be hands-on in store
- Ability to cover the store in absence of other leaders (keyholder responsibilities)
