Job Summary
As Team Leader at EUROSPAR Millisle, you will help lead the store team alongside the Assistant Manager/Store Manager to follow store policies and practices, take responsibility in the absence of other leaders (including keyholder duties), train and manage workload, stay hands-on in-store, and ensure resources are aligned to deliver the best customer experience. You’ll support store performance by understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities, participate in community initiatives, and may cover the Post Office when required. The role requires supervising a team, strong customer-focus, reliability across early morning to late evening shifts (6:00am – 11:00pm) and weekend availability, with a flexible approach to shift patterns.
Required Qualifications
- Aged 18 years or over (store legislative requirement)
- Previous store retail experience
- At least 6 months' supervisory experience leading a team in a customer-focused environment
- Natural ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and team members
- Target-driven and focused on achieving business plans/priorities
- Ability to inspire and lead others to deliver excellent customer service
