Job Summary
Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets by organizing workflow, assigning tasks, and executing instructions. Review labor reports, production output, and cycle counts for accuracy while maintaining required production and attendance records. Serve as the primary escalation point for production issues and ensure timely resolution by monitoring staffing levels and adjusting resources. Lead team members through day-to-day guidance, training on safety practices and quality standards, and support onboarding for new employees. Conduct routine audits of operations and product quality, perform initial root cause investigations for deviations, and maintain compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety policies. Advocate for LEAN and practical process improvement principles by leading meetings and collaborating with Engineering, Planning, and Maintenance teams on equipment and process issues. Work third shift (nights) in a manufacturing environment requiring full PPE, with an estimated hourly pay range of $30.14–$45.21.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting within private, public, government, or military sectors
- One year of experience in leadership or supervisory role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of machinery
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices
- Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials and blueprints
- Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to provide work direction
- Ability to act with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy
- Must be able to maintain a safe and organized work area
- Must follow PPE requirements
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting materials up to 50 lbs as needed
