Job Summary
Lead a group of 8-12 team members by assimilating and training new hires, conducting daily pre-shift meetings on safety, quality, and production goals, and ensuring proper PPE usage. Collaborate on continuous improvement ideas, escalate production issues, and maintain shift-to-shift communication with other leaders. Update and audit Key Performance Indicators, create standard work procedures, and complete hourly boards, 5S audits, and stop observations. Utilize SAP to support the manufacturing process and resolve conflicts through coaching. Requires prior leadership experience, manufacturing process understanding, and physical ability to stand, sit, and lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience leading others in a work or volunteer capacity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a genuine people-centric mentality and a heart for servant leadership
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting ability
