Job Summary
Team Leader responsible for leadership and operational oversight of a team of specialist family violence practitioners delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, culturally safe services to victim-survivors (including children and young people). Lead staff supervision, reflective practice, compliance with Child Safe Standards, the MARAM framework, CMPR and related policies; drive workforce development, service planning, risk management and continuous improvement; coordinate client-centered, culturally responsive service delivery across Recovery programs and Case Management, and strengthen partnerships with external stakeholders to support migrant and refugee communities.
Required Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field
- Experience in service provision to victim survivors of family violence
- Experience in team management and leadership
- Expertise in trauma-informed practice, crisis support, and system advocacy
- Knowledge of MARAM Framework, Code of Practice, and CMPR
- Strong communication and crisis response skills
- Current driver’s license
