Job Summary
Lead the Initial Assessment Team, managing Social Workers and Support Workers to conduct initial assessments of need for children and families in Stirling not currently working with the service. Prioritize multiple demands to build support plans that scaffold families and avoid further crisis, while adeptly supporting practitioners and families in situations escalating to formal Child Protection or Looked After processes. Use communication and networking skills to build relationships with partner agencies, supporting collaborative multi-agency assessments, discussions in Team around the Child forums, and navigating families into statutory systems. Lead the team to ensure children, young people, and families access timely support in line with The Promise.
