Job Summary
Lead inbound logistics operations at a Des Plaines, IL facility. You will supervise unloading of inbound shipments, ensure orderly stacking, pick and stage outbound shipments, verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safe operation of materials handling equipment. Maintain the product locator system, optimize space through warehouse consolidation, rotate stock as appropriate, keep the area clean and secure, and ensure compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards. This is an onsite, contract role requiring a High School diploma and a minimum of 2 years in a lead position, with PTA certification for the inbound function, and strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead position
- Parts Technical Analyst (PTA) certification for Inbound function
- English – Ability to speak, read, write and interpret documents
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills
