Team Leader I

Lead, direct, and facilitate line leaders and assemblers across multiple work cells to maximize value-added labor and eliminate non-value-added activity. Interface with quality assurance, engineering, and customer service to address issues and implement continuous improvement projects. Support the Material Handling work cell by developing 1st piece build processes, setting up work cells, and controlling activity per established efficiency procedures. Manage product flow, staging, crew training, operation rates, and scrap tallies while ensuring compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety policies. Perform hands-on production and assembly functions to mentor team members and maintain a positive atmosphere. Requires a high school diploma and one to three years of related experience.
