Job Summary
Program Leader overseeing all youth programs within MVUSD schools in Visalia, combining on-site presence (3–4 hours/day) with remote work (2–3 hours/day). Responsibilities include supervising instructors and on-site staff, serving as the main liaison between program staff, district representatives, and families, monitoring program effectiveness and safety, coordinating scheduling and logistics across multiple school sites, reviewing program data and feedback, providing on-site support during critical times and completing administrative tasks remotely, and participating in hiring, training, and ongoing staff evaluation. Requires strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple teams, and proficiency with hybrid work tools; bilingual ability (Spanish/English) is a plus. Must pass district background checks and maintain reliable transportation within the district. Start date August 3, 2026 to September 18, 2026; Schedule Monday–Friday 2pm-6pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in management, preferably in educational or youth-focused programs.
- 2–5 years of experience working directly with youth in educational, afterschool, or recreational settings.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and programs across different locations.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with hybrid work (Zoom, Google Workspace, email, scheduling tools, etc.).
- Self-starter with strong time-management and problem-solving abilities.
- Reliable transportation for daily on-site visits within the district.
- Must pass a background check and meet district clearance requirements.
