Oversee daily operations in the office for inventory management and replenishment activities for Nursing Departments, ensuring timely availability of medical and surgical supplies. Supervise staff responsible for the OR inventory replenishment process, including proper use of automated inventory programs. Perform daily inventory updates and adjustments through cycle counts to maintain established inventory par levels, while processing daily replenishment orders for stock and non-stock supplies via the automated Supply Chain system. Process receipt for all supply deliveries, verify purchase orders against delivery slips, and prioritize overnight orders for prompt delivery to the charge nurse. Rotate and check dated supplies to remove outdated items, report damaged items, and coordinate substitute items with clinical staff approval. Assist with employee orientation and training, answer the telephone with proper etiquette, and restrict unauthorized access to the storeroom while maintaining safety and security in the receiving area.
