Job Summary

Lead, schedule, train, and coach occupational health nurses while overseeing onsite medical services including assessment, triage, treatment, and medication administration under physician standing orders. Manage injury and illness cases, coordinate return-to-work programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and medical guidelines. Maintain confidential employee medical records, oversee workers' compensation administration, and deliver health, wellness, and safety-related training. Partner with Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, and plant leadership to support workplace health strategies and incident investigations. This role supports Conagra Brands' manufacturing facilities in Marshall, Missouri, contributing to a safe work environment across iconic brands like Birds Eye and Reddi-Wip.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of employment
  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
  • Three years of nursing experience
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid Instructor certification
  • Completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid Instructor certification upon hire
  • Experience supporting workers' compensation, return-to-work programs, and employee health initiatives
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience handling confidential medical and employee information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with electronic medical, occupational health, or safety management systems
  • Knowledge of occupational health regulations
  • Knowledge of medical protocols
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordkeeping requirements
  • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring nursing or clinical staff
  • Ability to walk around the facility
  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders
  • Ability to kneel
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size

Desired Qualifications

  • Occupational health, industrial nursing, manufacturing, food manufacturing, or related experience
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordkeeping requirements
