Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of support workers to ensure service user needs are met according to individual support plans and regulatory standards. Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, families, advocates, GPs, and safeguarding teams. Set and communicate high standards of care, lead compliance with quality audits, and manage day-to-day spending for Trust and service user monies. Represent Brainkind at external meetings and seminars as required. Monitor incidents, accidents, and safeguarding notifications while empowering staff and service users to maintain a homely environment. Undertake reasonable traveling requirements to support other locations within the Division.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ / QCF level 3 HSC or willingness to work towards within 12 months
- Previous experience of working in a care setting
- Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach, being able to prioritise, plan and organise the workload
- Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively on all levels
- Good time keeping, time management attendance skills
- Must be able to undertake any reasonable traveling requirements to fulfil the tasks and responsibilities of the role
- Must be subject to compliance checks including 3 years of checkable references and DBS/PVG checks
