Job Summary
Team Leader responsible for guiding store team to meet/exceed sales goals through service, production, merchandising, and accurate business practices; oversee cash handling, stock levels, training, and safety compliance; lead and motivate teammates to deliver strong customer service and operational excellence; requires leadership skills, cash handling experience, communication, and ability to train others. Location in Sturgis, Michigan with in-person duties and flexible hours for opening/closing the store. Must be able to lift 35 pounds and have reliable transportation for occasional off-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated competence in interpersonal relations, leadership and problem solving
- Demonstrated experience in cash handling
- Strong reading, writing, speaking and communication skills
- Strong mathematics skills related to retail operations
- Ability to train and explain processes to others
- Ability to motivate self and others
- Previous team leadership experience preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and theft-related background check
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator license
- Must have a reliable vehicle in order to conduct required off-site agency business on an occasional basis
