Job Summary
The Team Leader will learn and reinforce FFH culture, support the store manager, and lead a team to drive sales and profits through merchandising, inventory management, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include scheduling staff, monitoring performance, identifying customer needs, executing store operational requirements, protecting assets, and supporting marketing strategies. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with physical duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- A successful team leader must demonstrate excellent leadership and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with customers, vendors and associates
- Ability to understand aggressive customer service and be team-oriented
- Good management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move/handle merchandise and fixtures
- Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Experience in supervising store operations, merchandising, and inventory control
- Ability to schedule and supervise employees and ensure adherence to policies
