Job Summary
Team Leader at Family Farm and Home responsible for learning the company culture, supporting store leadership, mentoring and supervising team members, and driving store performance. Responsible for promoting an aggressive sales culture with a focus on superior customer service, assisting the store manager with merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and execution of store responsibilities. Duties include scheduling staff, identifying customer needs, building community relationships, signing customers up for loyalty programs and financing options, protecting inventory and assets, ensuring merchandise is received and displayed properly, maintaining safety and a clean store environment, supporting marketing strategy through financial statements and sales records, and enforcing policies and procedures. Requires leadership, problem solving, strong communication, adaptability to fast-paced environments, ability to stand for long periods, ability to move/load merchandise and fixtures, climbing ladders, reaching, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
