Job Summary
Supervise day-to-day operations of the Infrastructure Platform Engineering team, ensuring even workload distribution and service goal achievement. Lead by setting a strong example, fostering an environment of trust, open communication, and creative thinking while encouraging risk-taking and constant improvement. Communicate clear instructions to team members, hold them accountable for objectives, and provide regular status reports on progress and issues. Translate complex technical solutions regarding Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes, and server provisioning into clear messages for business clients, technical teams, and management. Manage vendor relationships and escalate issues when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Information Technology in an enterprise environment
- 2+ years of experience overseeing a technology team
- Enterprise level Active Directory experience
- Strong collaboration with other IT and business teams
- Strong soft skills
- BS or BA degree, or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Infrastructure as Code experience
- Kubernetes infrastructure experience
- Infrastructure Modernization through Platform engineering
