Job Summary
Lead Team Boost at Rocket Money to set vision and strategy, grow developer productivity, and improve performance across client rendering, server latency, and CI. Own roadmaps, triage problems, stay close to code, and mentor engineers while building programs that simplify developer experience and user-facing performance. Collaborate with Group Director and product engineering to absorb cross-organizational requests, drive high-quality, high-impact work, and establish measurable performance and quality gates. Foster growth through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and individualized development plans, and champion DX/UX by sponsoring RFCs, migrations, and architectural changes that make the developer experience easier and more efficient for the team and users alike.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience shipping production systems
- Experience with Node/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Postgres
- Track record of leading senior ICs and growing teams
- Ability to triage a flood of incoming problems and decide where to invest
