Job Summary
Manage daily production aspects for the Injection Washer department, including safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Assign manpower based on schedules and Kanbans, coordinate training, and maintain up-to-date work manuals. Resolve associate concerns, conduct performance appraisals, and administer discipline while promoting positive relations. Ensure equipment functionality through TPM, obtain necessary parts and tools, and perform hourly checks and process audits. Submit overtime requests, approve vacation requests, and enter daily production data for analysis. Review quality issues with the Supervisor to ensure IATF-16949 compliance and maintain 5S/PQS standards. Assist the Manager as required and fill in during absences. Core hours are 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM; a resume is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or high school diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience
- Previous experience in a leadership role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to guide others
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of statistical process control and manufacturing processes
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Must be able to work additional hours and flexible schedule as required due to business needs
- Safety glasses required
- May move, lift or carry objects up to 35 lbs
- Standing and walking a majority of the time
