Job Summary
Group manager—Digital IC Design leads a digital design team and coordinates Bangalore activities regarding digital IC design. Manages technical, commercial, and quality requirements of the project; monitors, coaches, and optimizes the digital design development process; supports acquisition of new projects and participates in defining strategy goals. Responsibilities include disciplinary team guidance, resource/process/tool coordination for the Bangalore team, defining and tracking work-packages, supporting concept work and effort estimations, evaluating risks, tracking progress vs. schedule, executing milestone reviews with customers and management, verifying documents, change management, quality assurance, and driving process improvements. The role requires leadership, strategic planning, budget management, and alignment across cross-functional teams at the Bengaluru site, with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification
- 12+ years’ experience in leadership and digital design of automotive product development
- Proven experience in Digital design development processes and methods for ASIC & FPGA implementation
- Experience in Design, verification methodologies & development tools
- Leadership experience as team leader, group or program manager
- Bachelor of science with advanced course in VLSI Design
- Integrated circuits and Mixed signal experience (e.g., high-voltage analog CMOS and BCD)
- 10+ years experience in IC digital design and verification
- Automotive product development
- IC design/synthesis tools, good understanding of the physical design flow (Siemens, Cadence, Synopsys)
- SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS (VDHL?)
- UVM test methodology
- Working in international development network
