Job Summary
Team Leader for the Connected Beginnings Health Team responsible for leading and coordinating health services for birth to five-year-old children in Doon side and Mount Druitt regions, delivering health outcomes by ensuring high-quality leadership, stakeholder engagement, data reporting, health screening, referrals, culturally appropriate care for Aboriginal children, health and safety leadership, quality improvements for WH&S and accreditation, and development of staff capabilities aligned with funding agreements and Indigenous succession planning.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in managing and supervising other health professionals
- Experience and capacity to facilitate partnerships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
- Understanding and experience in the delivery of health care in a community setting for the health outcomes of children and families
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities including time management
- Qualification of Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with current Registration with APHRA
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check NSW
- Current Driver’s License that allows you to drive in Australia
- COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster information (or evidence of a valid medical exemption)
- Immunization records
- First Aid or willingness to obtain
- CPR or willingness to obtain
- A Certificate of Aboriginality
