Job Summary
Lead the store team as Team Leader at EUROSPAR Carrowdore, reporting to the Assistant Manager/Store Manager. Responsibilities include guiding staff to follow store policies and standards, taking keyholder responsibility in the absence of other leaders, training and managing workload while staying hands-on, supporting the Store Manager to maximise store performance and execute the store plan, promoting community initiatives, and potentially covering the Post Office when required. The role requires supervisory experience in a customer-focused retail environment, strong communication and teamwork, and a flexible schedule to cover morning, evening and weekend shifts within 7:00am–11:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Aged 18 years or over
- Previous store retail experience with at least 6 months in a supervisory role leading a team in a customer-focused environment
- Ability to listen, interact and communicate with customers and team members
- Target-driven with a focus on achieving business plans/priorities and continuous improvement
- Ability to inspire colleagues and maintain the values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork, and Integrity
- Flexibility to cover morning, evening, and weekend shifts
- Ability to cover the Post Office when required as part of the role
