Job Summary
Lead your team in a safe, fair, and learning environment while supporting all assigned tasks to deliver exceptional services and quality products on time. Provide input on team member performance, attend shift meetings and huddles, and assist operators, CMOs, and supervisors with troubleshooting process problems. Ensure consistent policy administration, maintain a safe work environment by reporting concerns, and actively promote the 5-S program. Enter all production data into the system, reconcile scrap and downtime reasons, review quality rejects, and ensure operators complete attribute charts and audits. Capable of filling in as a Supervisor on an as-needed basis and advising the next Team Leader of press or molded parts information.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs.
- Good mechanical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly
- Certified Molding Operator completed
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Beacon Employee
- Training in general safety
- Experience as Certified Molding Operator
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on the use of measuring tools helpful
- Good Math skills
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Self-motivated team player
- Blueprint reading helpful
