Job Summary
Team Leader role at Goodwill of North Georgia in Woodstock, overseeing store personnel per shift, open/close as key holder, develop/train and coach team members for career growth, comply with agency SOPs and safety policies, supervise donor/customer service to meet needs efficiently, resolve complaints and communicate with management, maintain proficiency across all workstations, ensure store appearance and housekeeping, perform all functions of store personnel, maintain company records and reports, attend required meetings/trainings, and be transferable within the territory. Requires High School Diploma or GED and 2-3 years retail experience; Associates degree or related management coursework preferred; forklift certification; proficient in Microsoft Office; strong English communication; ability to lift up to 30 lbs; available to work all operating hours including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience in retail
- Associates Degree or completion of related retail management course work preferred
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills; Bilingual a plus
- Must be certified and licensed to operate a forklift
- Maintain dependable transportation and electronic communication device
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must start employment in acceptable safety work shoes
- Must be able to adapt to growth and a changing environment within the Agency
- Must be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation
- Must be available to work Monday through Sunday during operating hours as needed for business operations
