Team Lead Warehousing - Inventory Control

Job Summary
Lead and execute inventory control activities, including scheduled cycle counts, location audits, and inventory reconciliations. Manage the successful performance of order selecting and shipping processes for the Domestic shipping department using RF scanners and the Softeon WMS. Monitor inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and process adjustments while maintaining compliance. Collaborate with Receiving, Outbound, Quality, and Customer Service to resolve operational issues and support internal and external auditors. Review Power BI and Excel reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Requires 4 years of warehouse experience with 2 years in inventory control, 1 year of lead experience, and forklift operation. Full-time, 40-hour week in Lithia Springs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience being in inventory control activities
- Minimum 1 year of lead experience (process owner, team lead, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience
- ability to safely transport materials
- ability to follow established safety procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- preferably Softeon
- Experience working with RF scanners
- Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to perform routine calculations
