Job Summary
Supervise the Tube Bending Department to achieve strategic goals in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people. Make front-line decisions impacting efficiency and delivery while overseeing team members to maintain a safe, quality, and team-focused environment. Train staff on safety, quality, and production compliance, ensuring 5S standards are sustained across all areas. Manage resource flow, shift staffing, and production item delivery while enforcing policy compliance through the Nelson Discipline process. Facilitate near miss investigations and employee incident responses in partnership with safety leadership. Complete performance reviews, address employee relations concerns, and manage timekeeping data. Operate tube benders, cut-offs, paint lines, and other manufacturing equipment as needed. Support continuous improvement projects and maintain accurate paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Must have strong computer skills in excel, word, PowerPoint
- Must have proficiency in reading and writing
- Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing work
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Common approach to continuous improvement
- Team player with a very positive attitude, willing to be a champion of change
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Must maintain confidential information
- Strategic Thinking
