Job Summary
Plan and schedule administrative duties, maintain accurate record-keeping for Texas and GSL requirements, and manage classroom and faculty schedules. Conduct disaster drills in accordance with state licensing standards, maintain current documentation, and oversee supply budgets and maintenance repairs. Assist with business tasks delegated by management, including helping in classrooms and maintaining lists of local agencies. Requires two to three years of office management experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle crisis situations involving children. Competitive pay ranges from $32,000 to $40,000 annually with health insurance and flexible working hours.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
- Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
- Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
- Previous management experience in a licensed childcare facility or experience managing faculty/staff preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Two to three years' management experience in an office setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
