Job Summary
Team Lead role overseeing warehouse floor operations, coordinating shift start activities, ensuring safe and efficient work practices, providing on-the-job training, maintaining materials/tools and documentation, and interfacing with customers and onsite management to meet quality and safety standards; requires leadership, ability to manage up to 15 staff, familiarity with scanners/tablets, and strong organizational skills. The role is safety-sensitive and includes pre-employment drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a team lead or supervisor
- Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts
- Reliable attendance is an essential part of this position
- Experience in automotive or industrial setting is an asset – we are willing to train for the right person
- Must be comfortable working with scanners and tablets for data keeping and time entries
- Previous professional interactions with customers and/or vendors
- Must read, write and speak basic English
- Computer literate, able to utilize MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and email software
