Job Summary
Team Lead, Technical Services role based in Pune, India, leading a team of Triage Analysts responsible for vulnerability report intake and validation. The role focuses on coaching and developing a high-accountability team, optimizing triage workflows to meet SLAs, and driving data-driven improvements. You will collaborate with security experts, engineers, and operations to ensure fast, accurate triage, maintain quality standards, and scale processes. The position emphasizes in-person collaboration at the Pune office with no remote options, leadership in cross-functional initiatives, and leveraging AI-enabled tooling to improve triage efficiency. Key responsibilities include people management, operational excellence, KPI tracking, root-cause analysis, and coordinating across security, customer success, and program operations. Desired experience includes strong knowledge of bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure, web application security, OWASP Top 10, Burp Suite, and experience managing distributed or shift-based teams.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of overall experience preferably in a security-related domain
- 2+ years of experience in people management
- Good understanding of the bug bounty landscape and vulnerability disclosure ecosystem
- Background in web application security, bug bounty, or vulnerability triage is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and basic security tools (e.g., Burp Suite)
- Demonstrated ability to manage distributed or shift-based teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to influence and lead through empathy
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with experience managing KPIs and operational metrics
- Must be able to work from the HackerOne office in Pune 4-5 days per week
- Open to work on weekends
